Foreword / Synopsis
I have been in the aircraft maintenance and engineering profession for fifty six years during which time I have worked for and with many different airlines and approved maintenance organisations as well as the odd leasing company and aircraft management companies.
I thought that the time has come to put pen to paper to record my adventures for the children and grandchildren, if for no other reason. I wanted to share my stories in the hope that the reader will find them entertaining, and those in the industry can relate to them. It is not all about aeroplanes and engineering as I do include many personal stories as well.
Employers included are Air Couriers, BUA, BCAL, East African Airways, IAS Cargo Airlines, Air Malawi, Tradewinds, Air Europe, GB Airways, BMED, and Airworld. Projects as a Consultant include, Euroscott Express, Sabre Airways, XL Airways, Canada 3000, Virgin Blue, Jet 2, Air Seychelles, Fly Dubai and several others.
