The Bristol B170 Freighter Gallery
If you have any photo's you can share or show on this site, please drop me a line anytime, email
Now, before the Carvair came along, the Bristol Freighter and then the Bristol Superfreighter were the mainstay of the vehicle carrying fleet over the English Channel.
Though the Bristol Freighter was used by many of the airlines in BCal's lineage too, and below there are some photos of the aircraft in service with Airwork, Air Kruise, Air Charter, Jersey Airlines, Lancashire Aircraft Corporation and Manx airlines.
The photo of chartered Hunting Freighters has so far eluded me, but I'm not sure if they would have worn HCA livery / titles?
But I hope you enjoy the images below and any additional ones always welcome
