The Boeing 707 came into the BCal fleet from the Caledonian side of the business. Though the passenger appeal of the VC10 was recognised, Caledonian opted for the 707 over the VC10 due to a number of reasons, a) the ability of the 707 to fly non-stop to the US West-Coast with a full load of passengers and freight, b) its quick conversion time into a full freighter and c) the worldwide use of the 707 made spares and engineering repair facilities more accessible. Here we have some more photos, I hope you enjoy them

Here we see BCal liveried Boeing 707 G-AZRO outside the hangars at London Gatwick, with a scattered reflection in puddles after some rain. She wore the name County of Lanark in her 18 months of service with BCal. She was leased from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) from 28th March 1972 and returned to them on 1st November 1973. Below there are some photos of G-AZPW, also leased from PIA, but only for 6 months from 03/1972 to 09/1972
