Here we have some more photos of Boeing 707 aircraft. The 707 formed the backbone of the longhaul fleet for Caledonian from the late 1960s and on into BCal. The last 707 retiring from BCal service in August 1984. In all over 20 of the type were flown, though they were not all in the fleet at the same time. I hope you enjoy them

Here we see Caledonian's third Boeing 707 G-AWTK at London Gatwick. She originally flew as N322F with Flying Tigers in 1965 and was named "Pole Cat", she was bought by Caledonian in December 1968 and given a far better name; "County of Angus". In May 1975 she was sold and leased back, but she was now registered as G-BDCN "County of Renfrew", the only aircraft I think to have had different identities in BCal's fleet. She was bought back in March 1977 before finally leaving service in October 1977, being sold to TAAG Angola.
