Having known Vince for many years I am struggling to come to terms with the fact that he is no longer around. We did have some fun on that dreaded BCAL hangar shift back in 74. He was always laid back and took things in his stride. A great character who will be sorely missed. R.I.P Vince.

Very sad news. My memory is cloudy but Vince and I were sometimes in the same class at Crawley College when we were apprentices in the 60’s, he for BUA and I MSE. So sorry to see that we have now lost Vince. I was quite shocked as I will always remember him as a very vibrant and likeable person. I worked with Vince for many years and always enjoyed his company and, I thought, had a great enthusiasm towards everything he faced. Another sad day in the loss of a great workmate and engineer. Vince and I worked together both in the hangar, on the ramp and in Maintrol and also knew each other socially. He was always in listening mode and enjoyed energetic conversation on a variety of subjects. He will die regretted.
