Anthony "Tony" Cowan : Captain
We learn that Anthony passed away on 12th February 2025, he went peacefully in his sleep at the St Peter’s Hospice in Haywards Heath. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and former colleagues.
Anthony started in the RAF, a time in Crop Spraying, joining BCal in 1975 flying the 1-11 and 707. He spent many years with British Caledonian, then British Airways as a First Officer and Captain on the A320 and 747-100’s, 200’s and 400’s before retiring in 2000.

Great to fly with and to socialise. 707 in BCal was unique in the early 80s. Tony and his friend, Dave Belasco both flew as skippers on the fleet. Such great times. RIP Tony.
