This 707 was leased to Universal Studios and was used in the making of the first "Airport" film. She did spend most of her life leased out to many airlines and also some time in storage.

Whilst operating a cargo service for TransBrasil the crew were making a "high speed" approach to runway 09R at Sao Paulo International Airport when the left wing struck a building some 2km west of the airport.

The aircraft came down in a residential area near the intersection of Rua Rua Regente Feijó and Rua Sandovalina in the Jardim Ipanema neighborhood and burst into flames. Three crew members and 22 persons on the ground were lost.

Monday 8 February 1988
While on approach to Luanda's Fevereiro Airport the aircraft struck a radio antenna on top of a building, breaking hydraulic and control lines.

The aircraft then overran the end of the runway on landing causing the nosegear to collapse.
Aircraft was observed at Miami, Florida in full TAR livery but engineless - 31 May 1989.

Observed in a derelict condition at Miami - 30th September 1992 and finally broken up - October 1994
RVR values for runway 34L (1600 m, 2000 m and 150 m resp. at Alfa, Bravo and Charlie) made the crew request radar vectoring to runway 34L. The aircraft was established on the localizer at 00:28.

The aircraft continued to descend below the 420 feet MDA, although the runway visual markings hadn't been located. The aircraft impacted the roof of a house 1300m short of the runway, 100m right of the extended centreline. It continued and impacted another building 85m further on. The aircraft then broke up and burst into flames with the loss of 33 of 52 on board.
BCal sub-leased this aircraft from Transasian Airlines between 15th June - September 1979.

Over her 26 years she had 22 registered keepers and BCal were the only UK airline to lease her. Originally leased to Western Airlines and then Pan Am she ended her days back with Boeing in the same spares programme as G-AYZZ. She was ferried to the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base for use a KC135 spares
