Reg has kindly sent in a great from his time with Transair, and I am pleased to it below.
Transair grew to be a large airline and they pushed the boundaries of the Dakota, re-engineering the DC-3 / C-47 to improve its performance far beyond its original factory specs, the Transair Dakmaster
Below we have a photo of their Engineers lined up in front of a Dakota, taken at Croydon Airport back in the day.
