I sneaked out of Caledonian House and drove the Fiat Panda in an F1 style down to the maintenance hangar to get these shots.
The aircraft was never in BCAL colours at LGW, only the Airbus in-house colours as these photos show.

I also this shot from the noisy seat at the back of a 1-11, it was in 1985 en route to Paris, but no idea of the reg.
It was a very boozy weekend, culminating in various amusing incidents in the Turkish Quarters, and nobody can remember a thing apart from that. Best leave it there!!
