A view of the BUA Engineering Office at the end of the runway in Ibiza circa 1969, the company engineering vehicle, a Renault 4, is parked outside.
"I was doing some technical manual amendments in the office one afternoon between flights and became aware of the smell of smoke.
Upon checking out the back of the office I discovered an old Spanish farmer had set fire to a bonfire right near the office and the wind had blown the fire towards the office.
After a few minutes of frantic action I managed to put out the source much to the annoyance of the farmer. I proceeded to read him his horoscope for the forthcoming period, not that he understood a word of it!!"
