The photo above shows DC10, G-BEBL, undergoing an engine change while down route in South America. The work too place in Santiago - Chile, in March 1981.
The engine change went well but most of us were sick with a "Gastro" bug! We were off work for a week and all lost a lot of weight. The team also included Fred Panell, Paul Robinson, Carl Traynor, John Russell, Roy Beasley, Tony Sanderson-Miller, Pete Hollingsworth and Dick Phelps.
