The photo above shows DC10, G-BEBL, undergoing an engine change while down route in South America. The work too place in Santiago, Chile, in March 1981.
The engine change went well but most of us were sick with a "Gastro" bug! We were off work for a week and all lost a lot of weight. The team also included Fred Panell, Paul Robinson, Carl Traynor, John Russell, Roy Beasley, Tony Sanderson-Miller, Pete Hollingsworth and Dick Phelps.
