David Braithwaite : BCal Engineer (Radio / Radar)
Sadly David passed away on 11th December 2020 at the age of 83. He joined BUA after leaving the RAF, then worked for BCal and later BA, as a radio/radar engineer at Gatwick.
He was a keen golfer and played for BCal in Papua New Guinea in 1978. He always had fond memories of his time at BCal.

Dave was a an excellent engineer. He always thought about the problem and could be totally relied upon to do an outstanding, quality job. He was good to work with and always was ready with a sardonic quip!
