Sadly we have heard that John, a Flight Engineer, passed away on the evening of the 16th December, following a heart attack a few days before. John was receiving care in Guy's Hospital in London. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and former colleagues. John’s service was held on Friday 11th January 2019 at St. Nicholas Church, Worth RH10 7RT followed by a committal at the Surrey & Sussex.  John was remembered by friends and colleagues at a gathering afterwards at the Copthorne Golf Club. I was a Children's Escort with British Caledonian from 1978 until 1990 (two years with British Airways) and enjoyed every minute of it, especially the very high standard of service we were expected to give. Great days. Thank-you

Started with BCAL in 1972 with posting to Seychelles. Lucky me! From then until 1984 various overseas postings and time at H.O. at Gatwick. Now have a business travel company in Horsham together with Ray Jackson who some of you may remember. Please get in touch - love to hear from old friends and colleagues.
