Captain Charles Stenner flew Britannia's for Caledonian Airways from 1963 to around 1971 (ish).
Though after Caledonian phased out the Brits he moved to Donaldson.
He was awarded the Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service in the Air in the 1972 New Year's Honours.
Below we have the record of that award from Lester of that special time for his Father.
