This Viscount was ordered by Airwork and first flew on 30th May 1959. She was delivered on 5th June 1959 and immediately leased to Sudan Airways (being managed by Airwork). BUA was formed while she was away in Sudan and on her return on 23/12/1962 she was registered as G-ASED.
On 23/4/1965 she was leased to Aviaco as EC-WZK.......five days later she was re-registered EC-AZK and flew the rest of the season for Aviaco until returning to BUA at Gatwick on 4/11/1965.
Her flying career continued with BUA until she was sold to British Midland on 15th Feb 1967.
After BMA she went to Alidair and then she was off to Israel (Akria), then to Go Transportation in Tuscon for parts before finally being donated to the Tuscon Airport Authority for use as an emergency training aircraft in Arizona. After 39 years service; she was finally broken up in 1998.
