Brian McLean Engineer

Sadly Brian passed away on 29th March 2015, our sincere condolences go out to his family, friends and former colleagues. Brian was 68 and I am sure will be missed by many.  Brian's service was held on 30th April 2015 at the Surrey & Sussex Crematorium.

Brian joined BUA as one of six apprentices in the second intake on 19 September 1964 and he started straight away at Brooklands Tech College (Weybridge) full time. After completing the five year apprenticeship he joined the line, and worked the old three-shift system until the four on, four off shift started, plus the occasional AOG's.

After getting his licenses, Brian became a supervisor on line engineering before being posted to Paris in 1985.  When the takeover occurred, he was posted to Geneva for the summer season to look after the A320's. And then all around Europe with the occasional postings to Africa - Gulf - Middle east until retirement in 2006.
