The Bill Hall Gallery
Bill Hall, was an Engineer (Avionics) with BCal in the 70's. He left and went to BEA (later British Airways) around 1973. But before he left BCal he had a painting done by another employee at the time. The artist was Tony Archer and he painted it in 1972
Bill sadly passed away in 2006 but Marie, Bill's wife, found the painting in their loft and it found its way here via Jon Theobalds.
It is of a BCal 707 at Kai Tak, the old airport at Hong Kong. Its a large piece, measuring 40 inches across.
My thanks to Marie and to Jon for all their help with the painting.
