Aircraft Parts - where have these been?

Now, sadly, 1988 is a long time ago now.....and 1970/71 even further back in time. So I was quite surprised to see some aircraft parts appear online in May - June 2014 bearing BCal, Caledonian and BUA tags on them.
I picked up a few and low and behold they do indeed have the correct part numbers to the tags. The seller was not 100% clear on where they had been for some 40 years or so in the case of the Caledonian / BUA items.
Most parts available currently appear to be for 1-11's but if anyone spots a VC10 or 707 being parted out...or any other former fleet aircraft of course... by all means drop me a line.
